We connect research, prevention, and policy to leverage the opportunities of longevity for society and the healthcare system . Our goal: A healthy, long life for all – scientifically sound, socially equitable, and politically anchored.

Why now?

Demographic aging in Germany and Europe is a reality:

• By 2050, in Germany, nearly 30% of the population will be 65 or older.
• The number of people over 80 is growing rapidly.
• Consequence: increasing burden of disease, primarily due to age-related ailments and chronic diseases – a massive strain on healthcare, care, and social systems.

However, at the same time, unique opportunities are emerging, particularly through advancements that target not just symptoms, but the fundamental mechanisms of aging.

The time is ripe to reduce suffering and sustainably improve health, quality of life, and lifespan.
